Very delicious Tunisian food place. We found the restaurant easily. We were seated immediately. The service was super fast. After ordering we did not even wait 5 min for our food to arrive. It was delicious. We had Tajin and Couscous. The mint tea was so delicious that we ordered 4 times.

You would need to walk a small street to get to this restaurant and it's away from the commercial area but it was so worth it. I ordered the couscous Royal and it was a heavenly treat after a long hike to Calanques. I loved the orange juice as well. I loved the red sauce which was spicy. I couldn't get to ask which one it was. So apologies for that.

We had a really special meal here! The Tagine with prunes, chicken, and almond is out of this world. We also ended out with mint tea and a Tunisian pastry. The people who work here are also lovely! We cannot wait to go back!

After 20 minutes inside the restaurant, we truly started a whole experience as if my grandma kept throwing food at me at home. Such a great restaurant run by a lovely family who treated us as their family.

Wow, we had a brilliant dinner here! Shared starters of Salad Meshouia, Brik and soup followed by Lamb couscous and Chicken and prune tagine, washed down with two mint teas. All for 35 euros! Really friendly staff!

I went to Sur le Pouce with a friend while visiting Marseille. The service has been very kind and welcoming, the dining area was pretty full but still the temperature was cool and there was no issue in talking between us, with the plus of feeling "at home" We took a couscous with chicken and one with mixed meat: both the portions were very generous, arrived super fast and tasted amazing! The price is approximately 12 euros per dish, which for the position in the city and the size of the dishes is unbeatable. Plus: the espresso was very good, said by two italians usually disappointed by coffee in France 😉

Some of the best food I put in my mouth. The couscous tasted like someone's grandma made it. The lamb was succulent, well seasoned, and fell off the bone. The portions are huge so you definitely should share. My surprise dish was the brick with shrimp. It's a must have especially when a whole meal is less than 25€

Generous portions of good quality food. The staff was kind and attentive. We recommend the cous cous. The restaurant was crowded and a bit noisy but it added to the experience, it felt very authentic!

We found this place online, it’s the cheap eat in Marseille. It seems to be a family owned restaurant. The staffs and owner were so nice, passionate and helpful for two Asian tourists. We didn’t even have to see the menu to know the must order here from every other tables! We had the fish and vegetable stew with rice, which I want to know the name of lol. All were tasty and very new experience for us, but it’s a foreign cuisine that we truly enjoyed! Highly recommend for whom wants to try something new and not French or Italian.

I live the cous cous here so much! The taste was delicious, and more than that, the price was really reasonable. Just the restaurant is a bit too crowded and people talking a bit too loud, but if you are a real Foodies, you should not be bother! We took 1 cous cous Royal, 1 cous cous merget, and 1 tea, 1 sweat cake, it was 23 euros in total, in Marseille! Not bad at all

Friendly neighborhood restaurant with great hospitality. Even though they don't speak English, we were able to get our orders in. Food was tasty, generous portions, and prices are good. Bring your own bottle of wine if you are visiting.

My favorite restaurant in Marseille. Amazing Tunisian food with massive portions and friendly staff. Try the grilled meats or couscous, with a heaping bowl of chorba and day old bread. Just a short walk from Saint Charles railway station!
